The Loft at 600 F is a vibrant, exciting, and inviting event space in the Penn Quarter/Chinatown neighborhood of Washington DC.

Perched on the third floor of a historic building across from the Verizon Center, the light-filled, modern space can be set in various layouts ranging from a comfy lounge to a formal conference table or from a engaging lecture to an inviting happy hour.

The loft at 600F allows outside catering of all kinds. Our preferred vendors appear below, but other vendors may provide service on-site with proof of insurance.

Clients are required to hire an ABC licensed bartender (or full-service caterer) if alcohol will be served at their event. Proof of licensing and insurance is required.

Driving Directions

From Virginia

Via I-395:

  • Remain on I-395 North into the District Bridge.
  • At Pennsylvania Avenue NW, turn right (You will be driving east toward the U.S. Capitol).
  • Turn left at the stoplight at 7th Street NW.
  • Go North on 7th Street NW.
  • Turn right on F Street NW.

Via I-66:

  • Remain on I-66 into the District of Columbia, crossing into the city on the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge, which becomes Constitution Avenue.
  • Remain on Constitution Avenue until you reach 7th Street NW.
  • Turn left at the stoplight at 7th Street NW.
  • Turn right on F Street NW.

From Potomac, Bethesda, Rockville

  • Get onto Wisconsin Ave., NW via I-270 and River Rd. or Rockville Pike (MD-355), which becomes Wisconsin Avenue.
  • Remain on Wisconsin Avenue.
  • Turn left onto Garfield Street one block after the National Cathedral.
  • Turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue NW.
  • Remain on Massachusetts Avenue until you reach 9th Street NW (you will pass through two circles and one tunnel).
  • Turn right onto 9th Street NW (one way).
  • Stay in the left lane on 9th Street NW.
  • Turn left on F Street NW and drive two blocks, crossing 7th Street NW.

Metro & Parking


Gallery Place-Chinatown Station on the Red/Green/Yellow Lines:

Use the Arena/7th Street NW exit. The Loft at 600 F is between Sidney Harmon Hall and FUEL Pizza, one block to your left.

Judiciary Square Station on the Red Line:

Use the F Street NW exit to the National Building Museum, turn left and walk 1 1/2 blocks along F Street NW to 6th Street NW.

Street Parking

Street parking is available around The Loft but at times can be difficult to find. Parking enforcement is very strict. Please read the parking signs carefully.

Garage Parking

Please check parking garage hours before parking as they are subject to change. The parking facilities are independent companies not affiliated with The Loft at 600 F. Reserve a parking spot in a local garage at

PMI Parking

Closes at midnight. The garage entrance is on D Street next to the Caucus Room. Look for PMI Parking Sign at 875 D Street NW.

Colonial Parking

Closes at midnight. The Colonial Parking garage in the Lansburgh building offers elevator access to 7th Street NW; enter on 8th Street NW.

Atlantic Parking

Closes at midnight Sunday to Thursday, 3:00 AM Friday and Saturday. The Atlantic Parking garage is located at 560 8th Street NW.

This garage is open the latest for weekend parking in the area. Rates may vary, but parking is generally $11.00 after 5:00 PM, and $20.00 if there is an event at the Verizon Center. Enter on 8th Street NW between E and F Streets NW.

500 H Street NW

Open 24 hours. This location is valet only. When traveling to this location, stop your car in front of the Fairfield Inn and Suites.
